Bias Meaning

최애 · K-pop & Korean fandom term

BiasIn K-pop, your bias is your favorite member of a group — the one you’re drawn to most.

Your bias is your favorite member of a K-pop group — the one who caught your eye and holds your heart. The Korean equivalent is 최애 (choe-ae, “most loved”). You can have a bias in every group, plus one ultimate bias across all of K-pop.

A bias isn’t random. People tend to gravitate toward a certain type — the calm leader, the bright maknae, the mysterious visual — and that pattern often mirrors what you’re drawn to in real life and relationships.
